• 750mL Riesling or Pinot Grigio cask wine
  • 1/4 cup – 1/2 cup sugar
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • Your favourite summer fruits such as apples, peaches, berries or citrus to garnish (we have used red and green apples thinly sliced) 
  • Sprigs of mint to garnish (if available)


Add the Pinot Grigio, sugar and lemon juice to a just and stir. Use only a quarter cup of sugar if you tend to like ‘less sweet’ drinks.

Add chilled soda water to taste if desired.

This is a simple Sangria great for a hot day, very refreshing; it’s not a complex cocktail.
